• No one without exceptions is allowed to smoke inside the hospital building. The hospital is a complete no-smoking zone.
• “No smoking” applies to all smoking devices including electronic cigarettes, water pipes, cigars and normal cigarettes.
• Dedicated smoking zones have been established at the front and back entrance of the hospital for smokers. Please only smoke at these assigned smoking zones for your safety and the safety of the public.
• If patient wants to smoke, he/she should inform the nurse and if the treating physician permits, the patient should be escorted to the designated smoking zone by the personal care assistant (PCA).
